AOU has over 450 guides, and even a MOD for the game. Feel free to ask for advice, tips and help in org chat and on Teamspeak 3 Chat Server. Join TS3 even if you have no mic, you get advice much faster that way and also can organize teams/raids better.

Take your time getting to know the dragons, relax and most important... have fun.

Kitinfool has been with us since last year and temporarily left us to powerlevel to 220 and then return. Well real life got in the way, but when he came back he decided to return to the dragon has he promised even though he had not reached his original goal. Instead he will reach 220 with us, and asked for his position as Colonel back in the PvP Department.

After some thought, I decided to offer him a promotion so he could lead the department instead, since he loves PvP and kept his word to return to us, which means a lot to me as a gamer and clan leader. The man didn't break his word, and that convinced me he could be trusted to become our newest General.

He humbly accepted. Congrats to Kitingfool, our PvP General!

Our Recruitment Department is working hard to find prospects, interviewing them and doing their best to maintain the level of quality members we've been keeping up.

Of course we aren't the only ones out there looking for new members. Old established clans, younger clans and new clans. Most new clans don't make it, and their former members become more weary of recruiters, making it a bit harder to persuade them to try another clan.

At all times of day there is a recruiter on OOC from a clan, using different tactic, from interviewing to ninja recruiting.

Our efforts will continue since they have been successful, but some things like giving out free med suits and carbonum armor to help lowbies have been hindered by Gunz's underhanded actions so we're going to stop doing it for the time being. The time and supplies spent on those efforts will be put elsewhere.

Today we have a new Recruitment Officer, Captain Tsarichik! (main is Tsariniki) He has been with us a while and even with his busy schedule he wants to help our clan grow in his spare time.

Well we've been so focused on promoting and recruiting that we completely forgot to update our calendar for events. I'd like to remind members that events are not guaranteed, they are done by officers on their spare time at different timezones every week.

Only officers can add/edit events on our calendar, however if you do have ideas for events, post in "The Bar" forum, we're always open minded to new ideas and suggestions.

Last year, our record for most new members was 9 during a merge with a smaller clan. Today we've broken that record and interviewed and recruited 10 new members!

Also today we have a new Recruitment Officer, Captain Growly! He has been with us a while and even with his busy collegue schedule he wants to help our clan grow in his spare time.

This has been a great week for the Recruitment Department, looking for good prospects, promoting and interviewing people interested in joining us.

Our Teamspeak 3.0 Chat Server is back up! Thanks a lot Theomegaone! you came through for us!

Today some new evidence comes to light on Gunz at our "Drama in Atlantean" forum.

We'd also like members to read this thread.

A couple of dragons suggested to create a Facebook group, so what he hell, why not. I like to make dragons happy, and if it doesn't work out... you know who I will blame, muahahaha! No, seriously, I ain't taking any heat for this guys.

You can join the group here (if you are using Facebook already). I set up the basics and I may put more time into to if I see that it's being used by members.

Simple put, our front page news articles can be read from anywhere you are (your job place may have filters to prevent this), This is called a RSS Feed (please read the Wiki entry on that, very informative).

My personal choice is Mozilla Thunderbird which is both an RSS reader and e-mail software combined (I love Firefox already and they know what they're doing). It's free, easy to use and... did I mention it's FREE? heh! For other options you may want to check Top 10 Free RSS News Readers from about.com which is a decent site.

Plenty of options for you to be up-to-date on our front page news even if you can't log into AO for some reason (ehem, lunch time at work, etc).

Theomagone is sick with H1N1, he went from swine flu, to pneumonia, now viral bronchitis.

Taking that into consideration we've been waiting for him to get better since he hosts our Teamspeak 3.0 Chat Server. I spoke to him today and he assures me that it will be back up between Tuesday (tomorrow) and Wednesday. The server software will also be updated.

He's come through hosting our bot when we needed it. We wish him a speedy recovery, so he can rejoin us and kick some ass in AO!
